Setting for Internet Explorer

1. Security Level
Security level of browser should be set to Medium-High(Default). General instructions to set the level are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click on Internet tab
  • For the Internet zone, click "Custom Level" and be sure that the custom settings are set to Medium-high(default).

2. Enable TLS1.2
The site requires TLS enabled browsers. General instructions for enabling TLS are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click "Tools" in the menu bar
  • Select Internet Options then click the Advanced tab
  • Scroll down to Security
  • Here Enable Use TLS 1.2

3. Enable Java
The site requires Java-enabled browser. General instructions for enabling Java are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click “Advanced tab”
  • Scroll down to Java
  • Here Enable Use Java
  • Then click on Security tab
  • For the Internet zone, click "Custom Level" and be sure that under the Scripting heading, "Scripting of Java Applets" is set to "Enable" or "Prompt."

4. Enable Javascript
The site requires TLS enabled browsers. General instructions for enabling TLS are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click the "Security" tab
  • For the Internet zone, click "Custom Level" and be sure that under Scripting heading, following 2 options are either set to Enable or Prompt.

  • a. "Active Scripting"
  • b. "Scripting of Java Applets"

5. Enable style sheets
The site uses style sheets to control the display of the web pages. General instructions for enabling style sheets are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click "Tools" in the menu bar
  • Select Internet Options
  • Select the "General" tab and click "Accessibility."
  • Uncheck the boxes "Ignore color specified on web pages," "Ignore font style specified on web pages," "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages." And Format documents using my style sheet

6. Enable script-initiated windows
The site uses script-initiated windows for displaying the detailed information about the instruction. General instructions for enabling script-initiated windows are as follows:

  • Goto Control Panel
  • Click “Internet Options” in Control Panel
  • Click the "Security" tab.
  • For the Internet zone, click "Custom Level"
  • Select the "General" tab and click "Accessibility."
  • Under Miscellaneous heading, be sure that the Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints option is set to Enable
